India suffers long blackout
India suffers their second worst blackout, which has left several hundred million people without electricity and disrupted the transportation networks. The electricity collapse affected seven States in the north of India, which in the end has left 350 million of people without energy.
However the blackout of Tuesday seemed bigger since it reached zones in the east and northeast. Both blackouts left without power the capital New Delhi. So far 300 trains have been affected by the power loss.
The ministry of Energy, Sushilkumar Shinde has already ordered an investigation regarding the Monday blackout. AV
