Carlos Quipo, Another Hope for the Boxing of London 2012

The Ecuadorian boxer, Carlos Quipo (blue), defeats the Spanish of Dominican origin, Jose De La Nieve, and gain access to the knockout stage in London 2012.

The Ecuadorian boxer Carlos Quipo fought today with Spanish of Dominican origin, Jose De La Nieve Linares.

Quipo drew national attention by defeating De La Nieve 11-14 and gaining access to the knockout stages of the 49 kg category at the London 2012 Olympic Boxing.

Quipo won the first round 3-4 in a tight and very even fight. His strategy would help him again to win the second round 2-4.

The third round ended with a tie 6-6, but the final score was favorable for Quipo overwhelming the Spanish 11-14. MZ
