INEC: Unemployment Rate Decreased in 2011

The National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) released its report on the unemployment figure for 2011 today.
The year closed with a 5.1% figure, lower than the unemployment rate registered in 2010, which was 5.5%, due to economic growth in 2011.
Last year also ended with a rate of underemployment of 44.2% and a full occupancy rate of 49.9%.
