Inexperience is the main cause of traffic accidents in Ecuador

According to the figures managed by  the National Transit Agency, the main cause of accidents in Ecuador is the inexperience of the driver. According to this report, of the 25.588 of accidents occurred during 2010, the inexperience was the determining factor in 13.088 cases.

24.626 accidents occurred In 2011, and 11.203 were by inexperience, meanwhile in 2012 the numbers  were similar: 23.842 accidents,  of which 11.397 belong to the same cause.

In Guayaquil, this morning , Fernando Marin was found lying on the ground, in the 4 de Noviembre y Los Ríos streets , south of the city. It is presumed that the subject was run over by a taxi whose driver fled from the site.

Marin is one of the many cases of traffic accidents reported in recent days in the country.

In Quito, yesterday, in a collision between a truck and a passenger bus, on the road to the airport of Tababela, killed three people and other 11 were injured.

On Sunday, five members of a family drowned when the car they were travelling, between Milagro and Yaguachi, overturned and plunged into a ditch. Also on Sunday afternoon, in the via perimetral of Guayaquil a trailer knocked down a 76-year-old woman and near the site  a citizen died for the same reason.

In another traffic accidents, Chisrtian Segura, a police office, died in Esmeraldas and Luis Urgiles, in a clash near Cuenca.
