Isaac is Almost a Hurricane While Approaching the US Coast

Louisiana prepares for Tropical Storm Isaac
Residents of the US Gulf Coast are barricading their homes and buying extra supplies as the Tropical Storm Isaac approaches the region. The storm was close to turn into a hurricane of strength. It is predicted that Isaac lands as early as Tuesday night.
Forecasters have warned that New Orleans falls directly in the path of Isaac, its residents have been assured that flood defenses will hold, this is from seven years ago after Hurricane Katrina struck.
Hurricane warnings are being placed from Morgan City in Louisiana to the Florida–Alabama state line.
President Barack Obama declared a state of emergency in Louisiana, thus allowing that federal funds are released to local authorities. On the other hand, the Republican Party convention will now open in Tampa, Florida, after it was delayed by a day. AV
