Isaias Brothers declared themselves victims of media lynching
El Telegrafo “lynch us,” say brothers Roberto and William Isaias, through their legal defense, which is based on Article 26 of the recently adopted Communications Law, to denounce the publications made last week in that newspaper.

Brothers Roberto and William Isaias.
The main attorney of the former owners of Filanbanco, Xavier Castro, sent a letter to the editor of the public media, Orlando Perez, requesting information on the authors of the publications and copies of the “superior orders or instructions received” that would have supported the decision to publish such content.
Perez said that “if they believe there is a media lynching, it would be wise to come to Ecuador to put a lawsuit in the Regulation Council themselves and face their citizen responsibilities on the matter.”
El Telegrafo newspaper bombed the Isaias issue last week with several publications labeled as “offensive and harmful” for the defense of the businessmen, including:
Seized properties and businesses of the Isaias brothers (July 28)
The power of the Isaias prevails in the United States (July 29)
What is the responsibility of the Isaias? (July 30)
Defense of the Isaias says that the verdict is void (July 30)
The power of the Isaias, linked to politics in Ecuador and the U.S. (July 31)
