Israel does not discard invade Gaza after Hamas Islamists attack

Israel has launched an extensive air offensive to Gaza with the pretext of ending rocket fire from that territory, which according to them is executed by the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.

Since the beginning of its Protective Edge operation from sunday´s night to Monday, Israeli aircraft carried out dozens of attacks in the Gaza Strip.

A senior Israeli official, who requested anonymity, confirmed that “the army is prepared for all possible scenarios, including an invasion or a ground operation.”

Both the Israeli bombings such as rocket fire continued into the morning.

For its part, the Israeli security cabinet decided this Tuesday to call up 40,000 reservists in preparation for a possible ground incursion into the Gaza Strip as part of the offense.
