Israel fires against Syria
This Monday the army of Israel fired tank projectiles against Syria in response of a mortar explosion that fell near a military outpost in the Golan highlands.
Last Sunday the Israeli army fired several warning shots in Syria’s direction after a mortar fell in their part of the Golan, this is the first incident of this kind in more than 40-years.
A spokesman of the Israeli army told AFP that there were no victims and damages. Officially Israel is in war with Syria, but despite the occupation and the annexing of Israel through the Syrian Golan, both countries haven’t carried out any serious confrontations in four decades.
