Journalist and Historian Carlos Calderon past away
The Guayaquilean Carlos Calderon Chico, 59, journalist, historian and writer, died of a diabetic coma, causing great sorrow in the cultural ecuadorian sphere.
He wrote for El Telegrafo and Expreso Newspapers; he was editor of supplements and literary magazines, in newspapers and universities; he was a teacher in the Naciones Unidas and Speedwriting Academy private schools, and in the Babahoyo, Especialidades Espiritu Santo and Guayaquil Universities.
Avid reader, he owned a large book collection with more than 24,000 texts, and wrote about 40 books, like, Jorge Enrique Adoum, interview in two stages; I don’t care of the judgment of history (conversations with Carlos Julio Arosemena); Three teachers tell themselves; Conversations with Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco.
