Journalists attacked in Anti Wall Street Riots
Yesterday, American Commission on Human Rights condemned the attacks against journalists during their hedges on Anti Wall Street protest in the United States.
The Commission demanded the authorities to protect reporters, due in the last days there were at least five journalists were attacked, three of them by police and arrested about 12 temporarily in New York, Nashville (TN) and Oakland (CA).
PROTESTS
Police and protesters squatting movement Occupy Wall Street staged a revolt in New York in which more than 175 people were arrested and seven officers had wounds.
In Los Angeles, police tried to evict a minicamp, where 20 were arrested outraged. In London, protesters defied the ultimatum given by the authorities to raise his camp. The “outraged” remain outside the Saint Paul Cathedral, downtown London.
