After the class action lawsuit filed against the NBA players in California and Minneapolis. The NBA has been affected by losing a thread the 2011-2012 season of the U.S.professional basketball.
David Boes, counsel for the players, said the lock outviolates antitrust laws by denying the possibility of union working members.
If the trial is for the players, the NBA could lose billions of dollars, and in fact, it has already lost $300 million last season, with 22 of its 30 teams in the red. It requires a reduction in the percentage of revenue from the players, which was 57% in the previous collective agreement.
The NBA filed a preemptive suit in New York to show that the lockout is legal.
