Judge Augusto Posligua and Carlos Marx Carrasco
Judge, Augusto Posligua, the one who dictated the cautionary measures that favor Bananera Noboa to stop the payment of 90 million dollars, denounced last night during an interview with Ecuavisa – in the 8pm (GMT) news – that Carlos Marx Carrasco, the IRS Director was in his office to threaten him, if he gave a measure that favors the company.
Since the cautionary measure was made, the Judicial Council from his office suspended Posligua for 90 days. “This is a clear attack against the independence of justice,” who now is in the hands of the National Government, said Posligua. The judge strongly refused having received any money from Bananera Noboa. AV
