Justin Bieber was released after paying bail of $2,500
The young star of the pop Justin Bieber was released from a Miami jail , this Thursday, hours after being arrested for drunken driving and participating in an illegal car race with a yellow Lamborghini rented, said police.
The Singer left the prison escorted by prison officers and their assistants, after which climbed to the roof of a pickup truck to greet their fans.
Bieber, 19 years old, initially resisted the arrest, insulted the policemen and then told them that he had consumed alcohol, marijuana and drugs with prescription, police said. A judge set his bail at $2,500.
Two all-terrain vehicles had blocked the block so the singer of “Boyfriend” could compete in racing with a friend, who was driving a rented red Ferrari, said the spokesman of police in Miami Beach, Vivian Hernández.
Bieber was driving at a speed between 88 and 96 kilometers per hour in a residential area where the limits are 48 kph.
The friend, identified as Khalil Sharieff singer, was arrested on charges of driving drunk, according to Hernandez. His bail was set at $1,000.
