NASA will launch communications satellite

NASA will launch by unmanned rocket the Satellite Tracking and Data Transmission (TDRS) of the third generation. The placing into orbit of the satellite will take place this Thursday night and intended to strengthen the fleet of NASA in space.
The designation L of the new satellite is part from the TDRS series and NASA will appoint as the TDRS-12 at the end of spring when it reaches orbit.
Its value is $ 350 million and its launch will be at 21:05 Florida time (2:05 GMT Friday).
NASA uses satellites in support of the international space station and the Hubble Space Telescope, among other projects.
