Kenya triumphs in Guayaquil

Kenyans Daniel Muindi and Cecilia Wayua Michael consolidated the dominance of African athletes in the EXPRESO Race, winning in the General category of the 43rd edition disputed yesterday on the streets of Guayaquil.

Following the footsteps of Angolan Joao N’Tyamba and Kenyan Genoava Gelagat in the country’s most important competition, Muindi and Wayua finished more than half a minute ahead of their escorts: African David Kiprotich and Ecuadorian Diana Landi, respectively. (I)
