Landslide leaves 3 dead and 8 injured so far
At dawn yesterday, in the mining district of Bella Rica, there was a landslide of nearly 300 meters, which destroyed three two-story houses and the mine entrance of the Mining Society of Pueblo Nuevo, in the province of Azuay, leaving dozens of miners under the rubble.
Rescue missions helped to find three bodies of Peruvian workers and eight wounded, among Ecuadorians and Peruvians.
