Lenín Moreno: ‘we will work with the candidates you select’

The President of the Republic, Lenin Moreno, exercised his right to vote for the sectional representations, at 11:35 this Sunday, March 24, 2019, on the 17th meeting of the Sacred Hearts Educational Unit of Rumipamba, in the north of Quito.

The Chief Executive went to this polling station in the company of some members of his Cabinet, among them the Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion, Berenice Cordero; the Minister of Culture, Raúl Pérez Torres, and the Minister of Education, Milton Luna.

After paying, Moreno gave thanks to the media for collaborating with a peaceful election day. After depositing the ballots in the ballot box he went to another space of the educational institution to speak to the public about the sectional elections that take place throughout the country. “It’s the first time we voted in peace,” he said.
