Let’s Talk iPhone 4s
Apple’s presentation “Lets Talk iPhone” was held today in Cupertino, California. CEO Tim Cook took the stage to announce the innovations from Apple’s mobile OS, to apps, services and hardware.
Cook started talking about the iPad and how every state in the US now has an iPad program or deployment going in place today. “From the boardroom to the backroom and everywhere in between, iPad is showing up.” Scott Forestall stepped letaer to talk about iOS 5, which is coming out on October 12th for free, and Apple’s new messenger built-in app iMessage that will allow iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users to share photos videos and text for free.
One of the highlights of the event was the iCloud, which saves iTunes, photostream, and docs in the cloud and downloads them to all your devices. Ipod Nano comes in seven colors and is available since today $129 8gb $149 16 GBwhile iPod Touch now comes with iOS 5 and in white color. Pricing: $199 for 8gb, 32 gb $299 and 64 gb $399, in stores since October 12th.
And finally iPhone’s new generation was revealed, the iPhone 4s (not the iPhone 5 everyone was expecting), the phone conserved the same design of former iPhone 4 but the inside is completely different. The iPhone 4s comes with a new chip A5, dual core processor and dual core graphics, it supports 8 hours of talk time on 3G, 14 hours of 2G talk, 6 hours browsing, 9 hours on Wifi. Besides the new 8 mp camera which also records HD 1080p videos, the new iPhone is a world phone since it supports GSM and CDMA.
