Luis Noboa reacts after being discredited by Barcelona’s Tribunal

This afternoon, the presidential candidate of Barcelona Sporting Club, Luis Noboa gave a press conference with his brother, Antonio, and part of his directory, where he denounced alleged irregularities committed against his nomination by Carlos Coello, chairman of Tribunal Electoral of the sports institution.

Noboa is awaiting a meeting with the Tribunal Electoral of Barcelona with the official record that reports his discredit as a candidate to become the president of Barcelona team.

“I will be tomorrow with my entire directory and all the evidence of the injustice committed, and all Barcelona fans will accompany us also. Make it public where you want us to go (…),” added the candidate.

Among the reasons for his discredit it has been said that he is infringing articles of the sports law, which he argues have nothing to do with the requirements of being president of Barcelona. Another one is to hold office as Assemblyman; the sanction by the directors presided by Eduardo Maruri; and for not permanently reside in Ecuador.

He also ensures, Eduardo Maruri may have been involved in this removal with his cousin, Nicolas Parducci (who is in charge of the institution until the arrival of Alfonso Harb), because he is one of the people that is afraid of an audit (…).”
