Madonna alludes to her failed marriage in “MDNA”
Apparently, Madonna managed to capture the failure of her marriage with British filmmaker, Guy Ritchie in several of her songs from her latest album “MDNA“.
The song “I do not give a…“, Madonna recounts a day in the life of an unhappy marriage (associated with her relationship with Ritchie).
The theme has lines like “I tried to be a good girl. I tried to be your wife. Diminished myself and swallowed my light. I tried to become all that you expect of me. And if it was a failure, I don’t give a [Bleep] …”
Another track is Gang Bang, where the “Queen of Pop”, 54, touches the issue of relations to speak of “killing with a shot in the head, an ex-lover.”
Ritchie and Madonna divorced in 2008 after eight years of relationship and two children together, Rocco, 11, and David Banda, 6, who was adopted in 2006.
