Madonna and Adele

In an interview with Newspaper Daily Sun, singer Madonna replied with contempt the commentaries of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, when he calls singer Adele “fat”.

“That’s horrible. It’s ridiculous, is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,” said Madonna to The Sun.

Chanel designer said: “I prefer Adele and Florence Welch, but as a modern singer, she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice. Lana Del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer.”

“(…) Adele has enormous talent and although much has nothing to do with this,” remarked Madonna in defense of her British colleague.

When asked her what advice she would give to Adele, Madonna said she’ll always remember that in the end, “gain or drop weight, you always have to see how to keep your integrity and your inner strength.”
