Posted On 19 Dec 2013
During an unusual meeting, the president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, challenged opposition leaders to put together signatures to remove him of power in 2016, if they wish.
In the same meeting, held at the presidential palace of Miraflores, Maduro invited mayors and governors of the opposition to work with him in his office.
Maduro shook hands with Antonio Ledezma, mayor of Caracas, who was recently mocked by the President who called him “vampire” and the mayor of Valencia, Miguel Cocchiola, whom he called a “thief”.
