Maduro decreed to pay less for cars
President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, said he will issue a “special order” requiring the lowering prices of vehicles; also said he will regulate this market and promote “the middle class.”
This measure is part of the “economic offensive” against “high prices, speculation and wild capitalism “which leads Maduro has revealed that” three specific steps to be deployed in two years.”
“The first goal we are proposing in this first stage is that, I aspire to arrive until January, is the achievement of real equilibrium values of the real economy,” the president said , without explaining the other two.
In addition to issuing the decree to reduce vehicle prices, Maduro said that this Monday begins inspecting rental fees from business premises. The auditors verify compliance with Presidential Decree, where he established the highest price per square meter in the equivalent of $ 40.
