Maduro threats to get CNN out of Venezuela
The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, cracked down yesterday on CNN Television Network. “They want to show the world that in Venezuela there is a civil war, when actually the people here is working, studying, building homeland” , said the President while he was inspecting allegedly assaulted metro units last Wednesday, reported the national daily.
The President also ordered the Minister of Communication and information, Delcy Rodríguez, to notify CNN Network that has begun an administrative process against them to take the channel off the air.
Meanwhile, Dario Vivas, first Vice President of the Legislative Authority of the National Assembly, reported that an investigation has been opened for the TV Channel because of the news coverage regarding the recent events in Venezuela. The People’s power and Media Commission support the record, said the Deputy.
