Marilyn Monroe’s White Dress Auctioned for $ 4.6 Million

This morning it was reported that the legendary and sexy Marilyn Monroe dress she wore in “The Seven Year Itch” was purchased by an anonymous collector for $ 4.6 million.

The dress was part of the collection of props and costumes collected by actress Debbie Reynolds for over four decades.

Also three other dresses were auctioned off from the former sex symbol; Marilyn wore two of them in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.” The total sum of these four pieces of Monroe has exceeded $ 6 million and is expected to be a next auction with the rest of the collection in December. (BG)
