Mauricio Macri announced his presidential candidacy

The current mayor of the city of Buenos Aires, Mauricio Macri, publicly announced that he will run for president of Argentina in the 2015 elections.

“I’ll be the president of  the change in 2015,” said the conservative pre-candidate during the celebration of his political party, Propuesta Republicana (Pro), which win the legislative elections in the capital (Buenos Aires) held this Sunday.

The Mayor said that the “improvements” achieved in Buenos Aires “can be also achieved throughout the country.”

“I reiterate my commitment to build the new alternative in 2015, to be the president for a change in 2015 (…) The Pink House is not a group of people, it cannot be posible  that they pass their elective offices from spouses to close relatives.” said the Mayor.
