Mayor Jaime Nebot and Guillermo Lasso reunited in Guayaquil City Hall

This afternoon, Mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot Saadi, published a statement, through his Facebook, expressing his support to presidential candidate, Guillermo Lasso.

“The presidential candidate Guillermo Lasso officially visited me to pledge their full support to Guayaquil and the way we manage the city, to bring progress and prosperity to its people and also expressly agreed that we practice and defend fundamental concepts as democracy, freedom , social market economy, capable of generating employment; fight against insecurity; autonomy, decentralization and increase of agricultural production, and shrimp fishing in the country. On the other hand, he and CREO movement have taken the decision of not presenting candidates for the Assembly for the province of Guayas in order to support the 6-Madera de Guerrero Movement.

I do not disqualify any candidate, whom I keep in consideration , but by the mentioned specific attitudes and pronouncements, I will support and vote for Guillermo Lasso. My decision is personal. The 6-Madera de Guerrero will take their own, in the following days. ” (JP)
