“People” magazine announced that the family of the late singer and producer, Michael Jackson, plans to release a documentary about his life with the help of the fans.

Katherine Jackson, mother of the “King of Pop,” sent a message to the fans via fundanything.com and in her name and the children of the singer  (Paris , Prince and Blanket) , asked for help to raise the $ 3.2 million needed to finish the production of the film ‘ Remembering Michael.’

“Our goal is to render a positive, loving and respectful tribute to Michael , who spent his life sharing his gifts with the hope of making the world a better place,” cites the publication.

A family source revealed to ‘People’ that the Jacksons are not raising funds because they are short of money . According to reports, the singer franchise produced $121 million in revenues in 2012.
