Minister Zúñiga: Gabela case report was expert and not the final

The Minister of Justice, Ledy Zúñiga, clarified on February 5 in the Ecuavisa TV channel that the document on the death of General Jorge Gabela, which was made public, is an “expert report of the consultancy” and not the final the Interagency Commission shall deliver to President Rafael Correa.

Zúñiga recalled that the Commission was created by Correa to address complaints made by Patricia Ochoa, widow of the former FAE commander, whom the conclusions would be delivered in the coming days.

The official showed the expert opinion the next day the author, the Argentine Roberto Meza, required him to reveal the entiredocument and with his signature.
