Maria del Carmen Aguayo, principal of the Miss Ecuador Organization presented this week the sixteen candidates for the Ecuadorian crown during an open house in Guayaquil.
The young representatives from nine provinces will compete this year to succeed Carolina Aguirre. The gala will be held at the Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro Theater, in Guayaquil, because the last six years, the event has been carried out in other cities.
On Wednesday, will be held the Yanbal Night Gala, for the official presentation of all the participants, in which they will wear dresses by designer Johnny Santa Cruz and shoes by Patricia Reyes.
The Route of Beauty begins this February 1st in Ambato and then continued to Quito, Cuenca, Santo Domingo and Salinas. The “Best National Costume” contest will be held in Atacames on February 10 in the town pier.
