Proceedings of Delgado in Miami could last several months

Pedro Delgado
Juan Carlos Carmigniani, lawyer Pedro Delgado explained that the regularization procedures that his client started in Miami (United States) will take some time and could take between 100 and 150 days.
Delgado, former president of the Central Bank of Ecuador, left the country on December 20, 2012 and was due to return on January 6, but this did not happen and now he has decided to settle in Miami, where he has a home and a business. Meanwhile the Court of Justice of Ecuador has issued a detention warrant to investigate so the former official was denied his ordinary passport. Delgado’s defence qualified these events as attacks against his human rights. Carmigniani claimed to have evidence that the Ecuadorian government forced him to incriminate himself.
The attorney’s official added that a little over a week, Delgado gave his diplomatic plates, which were placed in a Mercedes Benz he owns. He explained that the Audi car in which he appears in photographs is from his son and that they share the same name, who acquired the vehicle with financial aid.
