After the February 23 elections, parties and political movements work on strengthening their bases, policy changes, tours around the country and in the training of their leaders.
Patriotic society, Christian Social Party (PSC), Renewing Institutional National Action Party (PRIAN), Roldosista Ecuatoriano Party (PRE) and Democratic Popular Movement (MPD), for example, are in a process of changing their national, provincial or cantonal representatives.
While other parties including Avanza, Pachakutik, Ruptura and CREO aim to strengthen their bases, SUMA will have this Saturday its National Assembly in Manta (Manabi), where Guillermo Celi will be named as National Director in replacement of Mauricio Rodas, elected Mayor of Quito.
On the other hand, PAIS prepares its National Convention for next May 1.
