A survey by the newspaper El Universo, with the participation of 61 sports journalists from different media, showed Narciso Mina from the Barcelona Sporting Club striker, as the best soccer player of 2012, with 152 points ahead of his team-mate, Fricson Erazo.
The 98.36% of consulted gave their vote to Mina, now the player of the America de Mexico soccer team, and 73% ranked him in the first place. “The beautiful” Mina made 30 goals in the last national championship, becoming the top scorer of the tournament, for that achievement was repeated, as in the 2011 season, playing for Independiente del Valle, where he made 28 goals.
