Nassib Neme: Emelec will not make any opinion about Barcelona

A comment made by Barcelona Sporting Club’s PR, did not please Emelec’s president, Nassib Neme, who said that “we have nothing to do with the problems that that club (BSC) is facing.”

According to El Universo newspaper, Luiggi Macchiavello, speaking to the media, clearly referring to Paraguayan player Pablo Zevallos, and player of Emelec, said that “it is the most expensive substitute in Ecuadorian soccer .”

Consulted by the same media, Neme described as “very bad by Barcelona’s spokesman to refer about our players. We never do that”, and concluded that the commentary, which aims to divert attention from what is happening with Barcelona, was “an unprofessional and disrespectful allusion”
