National Assembly honored athletes from the Olympics

Yesterday, the 36 Ecuadorian athletes who represented the country at the 2012 London Olympics were honored by the plenary of the National Assembly.
Among the most famous was the Esmeraldas Alex Quinonez, who became the seventh fastest man in the world, after occupying the post in the final of the 200 meters.
Throughout the evening, aired a video with the highlights of the activities in the eleven Olympic disciplines in which the country was represented.
Assembly of Azuay, Manabi, Napo, Orellana, Esmeraldas, Guayas, Imbabura, Pichincha and Zamora, gave the agreements that issued the holder of Parliament, Fernando Cordero, for each athlete, which he highlighted “the worth and work” of each athlete, which has earned them “the tribute and recognition of the Ecuadorian people.”
