National film will be shot in rural areas of Azuay

Some rural areas of Azuay will be the protagonists of an upcoming film that will be produced and filmed with the participation of 25 young people from the same province. The project “Encounters with the film” seeks to tell stories through their own inhabitants.

The producer, Isabel Rodas mentioned that allies will be searched to comply with the project between May and December including the casting for actors and subsequent projection. They will look for young people to tell stories told by their grandparents and those who do it better will begin the workshops to create the script.

It is estimated that the filming stage begins in August, prior to a consensus between producers and te casting selected for the film  in four locations of Azuay. The film will last about 70 minutes and will be financed by Ecosystem and the National Film Board.

Today, the launch of this project will be from19:30 in the multiplex cinemas of the Milenium Plaza of Cuenca.
