New witness in the Restrepo Brothers case

Prosecutors from the Truth Commission, Jose Cordova and Fabian Salazar found a new witness in the case of the Restrepo brothers, who disappeared in January 1988.

It is a man who was arrested in the year of Santiago and Andres Restrepo’s disappearance, his arrest would be recorded in documents of the former Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).

The witness gave statements last night and mentioned that three former officers of the SIC were involved in the case and even proposed a face-to-face encounter to prove his version.
