New York decorates its streets for celebrations

The streets of New York dressed up to celebrate the annual parade of Thanksgiving Day, to officially welcome the holiday season and leave aside the bad memories of Hurricane Sandy.
Giant balloons, colorful floats, music bands and performances of celebrities delighted the people of New York who observed the spectacle organized by Macy’s.
This is the biggest event in the city since the storm Sandy caused massive damage in the region. This parade attracts around 3.5 million spectators and 50 million t v viewers It is formed by 28 floats, 11 music bands, thousands of entertainers and dancers, and of course, the main character, Santa Claus.
Among the celebrities who attended the parade, were Whoopi Goldberg, Carly Rae Jepsen and the Muppets.
