New York woke up covered with snow
Posted On 22 Jan 2014
This morning the city of New York woke up under a big blanket of snow after the strong snowfall on Tuesday and this morning, with rainfall for 15 hours.
Various authorities have recommended to citizens not to drive to prevent misfortunes and to facilitate the work of hundreds of snow ploughs which continue along the streets and sidewalks to avoid the accumulation of between 15 and 28 centimeters of snow.
The snow adds an intense cold with minimum for today – 14 degrees Celsius, which can reach – 25 with the wind factor.
The same thing happened in New Jersey, who suffered the worst snowfalls (up to 34cm in some points) along with the neighboring city of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania).
