On Saturday night, Philippine Manny Pacquiao defeated the Mexican challenger Juan Manuel Marquez by majority vote for the welterweight title of World Boxing Organization (WBO) at the MGM Grand hotel-casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After taking two voting cards 115-113 and 116-112, while a third judge voted evenly 114-114, Pacquiao beat with whom it has fought three different occasions. The first ended in a controversial fall tables and the second side of the Philippine, also split vote.
