Patiño and Hague will meet to discuss Assange matter

Foreign Minister of Ecuador, Ricardo Patiño, will meet next Thursday in New York with his counterpart in the UK, William Hague, to discuss the case of Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange.

“The meeting, to be held in New York, reaffirms the government’s will of both countries to seek a diplomatic solution within international law,” stated Patiño.

Both ministers will travel to the U.S. to attend the UN General Assembly. (MZ)
