Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, answer around 20 of the 27 questions of judicial confession held in the Najas Palace, home of the Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry. Patiño described them as “inofficious and illegal questions” in the list provided by the opposition Assemblyman Fernando Aguirre (Sociedad Patriotica party).
Eduardo Argoti, Fourth Civil Judge of Pichincha, did not qualify the relevance of 7 questions developed by the legislator Fernando Aguirre, because he said that these are in the preliminary investigation of the prosecution.
At the end of the session, supporters of Alianza PAIS Party and Foreign Ministry officials shouted slogans against Aguirre. The Assemblyman, who had police escorts, said that the Chancellor was arrogant and scoffed at the authority in the judicial diligence.
