Pedro Delgado, a life based on a lie

“The lie says the popular slang falls faster than a thief“, but in the case of Pedro Delgado, it took more than twenty years to come out into the open.

The exception makes the rule, but it is a fact that must take into reflection, that for that lie to have lasted so long means that no one thought that Delgado had faked his economist degree 22 years ago, in order to get a master’s degree in Business Economics and gain access to important state positions.

Based on his lie, “master” Delgado made his way in 1996 in financial institutions: the National Finance Corporation and the Superintendency of Banks. At the CFN he was risk manager and credit manager in 1999. In the banking crisis, at the Superintendency of Banks, he served as National Manager of Financial Supervisory, and as such, he prepared reports on the irregularities of the loans granted by the Banco Central to Filanbanco of the Isaias, against the Banco Popular of Nicolas Landes and Progreso of Fernando Aspiazu.

Landes sued him in the year 2000 “by fraudulent falsification of public documents” and Jener Larreategui, President of the Court of Justice of Quito, issued preventive detention on September 5 of that year. That is why Delgado was “exiled” in Miami for 9 years. There he created Consulmax and Consulting companies, which allowed him between 2005 and 2007 to work as an “outside consultant” on economic issues.

With the arrival of his cousin the President Rafael Correa, Delgado returned home to continue his benefits of power with his lie.

In the article published by Ecuador Times: DELGADO, THE DARK CHARACTER OF REVOLUTION, alleged corruption cases are detailed, in which there are serious assumptions involving Delgado, when he took office as Chairman of the Central Bank Board and the Trust NO MORE IMPUNITY and its large network of friends, relatives and government officials influences.

THE CONCLUSION IS ONE AND IS THE SERIOUS RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE REPRESENTATIVE RAFAEL CORREA HAS BY HAVING CLOSED HIS EYES TO DOCUMENTED COMPLAINTS OF INDEPENDENT PRESS IN THE COUNTRY AND ALSO THE STATEMENTS OF ASSEMBLYMEN ENRIQUE HERRERIA AND CLEVER JIMENEZ.

Rafael Correa was obliged to investigate and worry about malicious acts of his cousin who multiplied and STOP PROTECTING HIM AS HE DID, DEFENDING HIM PUBLICLY, ATTACKING COMPLAINANTS, CALLING THE PRESS AS “CORRUPT” AND FINALLY, CHAIRING THE TRIBUTE THAT HIS GOVERNMENT ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT  ITS “INNOCENT KINSMAN, VICTIM OF A CONSPIRACY.”

The lie came out in the open. NOT because of what Correa says now, that investigated at the INCAE, the President knew that Herreria had traveled to Costa Rica and that it would be a matter of hours for the false economy degree of Pedro Delgado to come out.

Giving the shows that we are accustomed to see, they made Delgado to admit his lie and once again protected him so he could leave the country.

NOW we can conclude: FORBIDDEN TO FORGET.
