The public company, under the guidelines of the executive and the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, will continue to strengthen the transparency processes underway with the new administration. In the coming days, Petroecuador and the United Nations (UN) will begin an international technical evaluation over five projects:

 

The Esmeraldas Refinery

The Pacific Refinery

The Monteverde Terminal – El Chorrillo

The Low Liquefaction Plant

The Pascuales Cuenca Pipeline

 

Likewise, negotiations with the PetroChina, Petrotailandia, and Unipec companies will continue according to the provisions given by Minister Carlos Pérez, with the purpose of resolving contractual clauses, protecting the national interests, through the renegotiation of oil contracts. (I)
