Photovoltaic Panels Company Signs Agreement with Ecuador

The photovoltaic panel manufacturer Solaria Energy and Environment said, on Wednesday, it has signed a collaboration agreement for the development of 25 photovoltaic megawatts in Ecuador with a local partner, without giving any financial details.
The Spanish group said the first phase of the agreement is the development of a 1 MW photovoltaic plant in Quito to be operational from the first half of 2012, expanding into a second phase to 5 MW in the first half of 2013. (ARL)
