Plane Crashes in Venezuela with 47 Passengers Onboard

An ATR-42 plane from CONVIASA Airlines that was flying from Puerto Ordaz to the Margarita Island with 47 people onboard crashed into land, informed Francisco Garcés, Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation and Communication on Monday, via telephone with the TV Station VTV.
At least 23 people survived the plane crash on Southeast Venezuela, and were taken immediately to the hospital. In the plane, 47 people were flying, with 43 passengers and 4 crew members.
The plane was covering the Ciudad Guayana-Margarita Island route. “The malfunction occurred when the plane took off and at 6 miles from Puerto Ordaz it showed this inconvenient that caused its landing” added, but affirmed they “don’t have further information”.
