Pollster Cedatos Issues Preliminary Data of the Referendum

At 20:00 the National Electoral Council (CNE) will give the first official results of the referendum 2011. Only data from the mouth to mouth surveys, those from poll to poll will be given in advance.

This is because each of the 3 900 boards that will make the counting of the sample must check ten times each ballot.

According to preliminary data provided by pollster Cedatos in Quito the Yes option has 57%, the No 43%; in Guayaquil the Yes has a 58%, the No 42%; in Cuenca the Yes has 58.4%, the No. 41 , 6%.

According to pollster Cedatos, in Guayaquil Question 8, on public entertainment where the animal was put to death, the Yes option has 59% and 41% is for the no one.
