Pope Francisco proposes to world a “brotherhood”
In his first message for World Day of Peace, released yesterday by the Vatican, the pope Francisco, proposed the world “brotherhood” as a weapon to fight economic crises and wars. In his message, of six pages, the Jesuit calls for “policies that mitigate excessive income inequality ” are adopted.
Entitled ‘ The fraternity foundation and path to peace , “the Pope urges heads of state , mostly from richer to help least developed countries.
“The current crisis , with serious consequences for people ‘s lives may be, however, a favorable opportunity to recover the virtues of prudence , temperance , justice and fortitude ,” wrote Pope Argentine .
The text was released in Italian and English and will be read in churches around the world on January 1 , the day when the international day of peace is commemorated.
