President Correa’s Cabinet Undergoes Changes

This morning, Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa appointed the new cabinet members who will replace their previous representatives.
In the Interior Ministry, José Serrano will replace Jose Alfredo Serrano Vera Arrata; while Johanna Pesántez, legal adviser who worked with Alexis Mera, will assume the Justice Department. Miguel Carvajal is leaving his post as Minister of Agriculture to become Deputy Minister Stanley Vera will assume his position instead.
The President also appointed as representative of the Executive for the Tripartite Commission for Justice to Paulo Rodriguez, chief at the register officer, who will be in charge of the transformation of justice.
