President Lenin Moreno highlights the work of the Ecuadorian Air Force

On Wednesday, October 24, a ceremony was held for the ninety-eighth anniversary of the creation of the National Aviation and Day of the Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE).
The event was held at the Mariscal Sucre Air Base, located in the old airport of the capital. It was attended by President Lenin Moreno; ministers, ambassadors, the high command of the Armed Forces, as well as civil and military authorities.

In the act, General Patricio Mora, commander of the FAE, highlighted the work done in recent months. He stressed, for example, that integration flights to the Amazon have been resumed to favor communities that lack roads.
The President also intervened to congratulate the work of the Air Force. He said that the Government assigned to the Armed Forces a budget of $ 1,300 million, of which $ 220 million have been allocated to support the Air Force.
During the ceremony, the attendees observed the ascent of the officers of the institution, in addition to the traditional parade of honor with the passage of the cadets and students of the training schools and military units of the FAE. (I)
